Terms of service
Agreement
By using autolinker.app or purchasing an Autolinker Pro license, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. Questions are welcome at [email protected].
Who you are contracting with
Web & SEO Autolinker is a product of Web & SEO Ltd, a company registered in Hong Kong under company no. 1826120, at Unit G, 15/F, Tal Building, 49 Austin Road, Jordan, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Web & SEO Ltd owns and operates autolinker.app, publishes the free plugin on WordPress.org, and is the party you contract with under these terms.
The products
The free Web & SEO Autolinker plugin is distributed on WordPress.org. It builds internal links between your posts using your own OpenAI API key. Autolinker Pro is a paid add-on for it that adds an economy mode through the OpenAI Batch API, scheduled passes, priority pages, a CSV report of your links and orphaned pages, and automatic updates from our license server.
Both plugins are licensed under the GPL, version 2 or later. Your Pro license controls access to updates, support and our license service. It does not restrict the rights the GPL gives you over the code.
Orders, billing and taxes
Orders are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle is the seller of record for every purchase: it runs the checkout, charges your payment method, handles VAT and sales tax, and issues your invoice. The Paddle checkout buyer terms apply to the transaction. Prices are listed in USD and Paddle localizes the amount to your currency at checkout.
Licenses and activations
Annual plans give you the Pro features, updates and support on 1 site, up to 3 sites, up to 10 sites or unlimited sites, depending on the plan, for one year. They renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and the license keeps working until the end of the paid period.
The Founder lifetime deal, sold until 23:59 on October 31, 2026, Paris time (CET, UTC+1), is a one-time payment for a license valid for the lifetime of the product, on 1, 3 or 10 sites. There is no unlimited lifetime plan.
Activations are counted per site. You can deactivate a site from the plugin at any time to free a slot and move the license to another site.
License validation
The Pro add-on contacts our license server at licenseos.net when you activate or deactivate it and once a week to validate your license, sending your license key, your site URL and the plugin version. When WordPress checks for updates, it sends your license key and your site URL. If your license expires or the license server cannot be reached, the Pro features keep working during a 14-day grace period. After that they switch off and the free plugin keeps working exactly as before. A license the server refuses, for example after a refund, stops working at the next check. A lapsed license never erases your settings and never touches your content.
Your OpenAI key and the links written
Autolinker is bring-your-own-key and we are not party to your relationship with OpenAI. You enter your own OpenAI API key in the plugin settings, where it is stored encrypted in your WordPress database; your content travels directly between your server and OpenAI and never through our servers. You pay OpenAI directly for usage and your use of their service is governed by their terms. Autolinker writes links into your posts and keeps a registry so you can review, repair or remove them: you are responsible for the content you publish.
Fair use
- Do not share, resell or publish license keys beyond the site count of your plan.
- Do not abuse, overload or attempt to circumvent the license and update service.
- Do not use the products for unlawful content or purposes.
EU/EEA right of withdrawal: digital content
If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason. For Autolinker Pro this right ends immediately after delivery of the digital content where you have given your prior express consent for delivery to begin within the withdrawal period and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right to withdraw, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU (Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code where French law applies). Delivery begins when we issue and make your license key available or when you download or activate Autolinker Pro, whichever occurs first.
Before the Paddle checkout opens, our pricing page asks you to expressly consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your right to withdraw, in a separate box that is not pre-ticked. You cannot complete the purchase without giving that consent.
This is separate from our 14-day money-back guarantee described on the refunds page, which applies even after you have lost the statutory right of withdrawal and, where Paddle is the seller of record, is processed by Paddle.
Refunds
Every plan comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. The full policy is on the refunds page.
Warranty disclaimer
The products are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that every link is relevant, that the service is uninterrupted, or that the products fit a particular purpose. Keep backups of your site; the link registry and WordPress revisions exist so you always stay in control of what is published.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the products is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost data, or usage costs billed by OpenAI.
Termination
You can stop using the products at any time. We may suspend a license that breaks these terms, after contacting you at the email address on the order when reasonably possible.
Changes to these terms
Any change will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the products after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
